I would like to know how to remove pen stains from my leather pocketbook. My son wrote on the outside of it and I cant seem to get it off. Does anyone have any ideas I can try?

They once told me in the pocketbook store to use a TINY bit of hair spray on a shmatta, they said they hesitate to tell people that b/c you can also easily ruin the item that way. You must do it VERY carefully, spray a small amount of hairspray on a shmatta and very gently rub it over the ink stain, hopefully that should do the trick.
