Who else here has a toddler in a rear facing car seat? When and how did you learn about the safety benefits of ERF?

My son is almost two...but he's little. I'd say up until maybe a month ago he hadn't hit 9kg yet, so he couldn't have gone forward facing anyway. He is starting to complain when I put him in (he's long, though light), so we may turn him soon.

You will not turn him I won't let he's still tiny.
Avraham Tzvi is 18 months but I'm not sure he's 9kilo yet anyway. He'll probably RF until he outgrows his seat which as his rate I don't see as happening before 2.5 - 3. My other kids all RF until at least 2.

My 31 month old is still RF and will be for as long as we can keep him that way.
My mother in law is a CPST, though I'm the only mother of her grandchildren that keeps my kids RF so long, but I do a lot of research and it makes no sense to me why NOT to RF so long.
He's definitely more comfortable than my FF sitter since he has wear to rest his feet. His neck is more protected.
