Well, let me see. Last year, I was dealing with my kids' problems, killing myself to make a living, and somehow holding on to my sense of humour.

This year, I'm dealing with my kids' problems, killing myself to make a living, and somehow holding on to my sense of humour.

Le plus ce change, le plus ce reste a la meme chose!

Last year, we had been without parnassa for over 6 months (kept going till 1.5 years) and the market in both Israel and the U.S. was dead.
This year DH is gainfully employed and I have my own dream (minimal wage and responsibility) job working hourly for about 4 hours a day. We may make ends meet! BH for miracles.

last year at this time dd was pregnant and ds was engaged, another dd was planning a career, another dd was starting her last year of school and working and our chayal was a chayal.

Today dd has a gorgeous baby boy, ds is happily married, the dd planning a career lost her job, traveled to new zealand, came back, got another job and is happily employed looking for a husband, the other dd finished her last year of school, is starting an MA and working and our chayal is still a chayal and went through a war in between and came out ok. B"H for all of it.

Dh and I were madly in love a year ago and are still madly in love (yeah after so many years), our health had it's ups and downs, in work we had ups and downs and b"h we are still as happy as we are together as on the day we married (and it was a very happy day).

My mother is b"h getting out of rehab next week after r"h. My in laws are b"h healthy and about to celebrate a 58th wedding anniversary. Our mechutanim are healthy and everything should just never get any worse than it is now.

B'H.
