Ooohh, I'm going to try these!

8" is the square one, right? I bought two metal bake pans, a 9x13 and an 8" square.

Oh my, that reminds me there was an AMAZING honey cake/brownie recipe in one of Susie Fishbein's cookbooks (never made it, but ate it!) with like a cream cheese-honey frosting. I meant to try it...oh well, it will have to wait...between all the honey cakes and your PB-choc. cupcakes, there is no more room!

Is this the recipe for the above described cake? Is this a Fishbein recipe?

Nope. It's from a Hershey cookbook.

mmmmm
Perfect.
The frosting was too thick so I added some hot water and it was yummy.

Doesn't taste too honey-ish ( I was worried), just right.

I made this, and it is delicious. Even my non-cake-eating husband approved it. Smile

Thank you. This is going into my recipe book.

Cookie, did you seriously suddenly post this recipe 14 minutes after I mentioned that similar one in the other thread by coincidence? (Not that that would amaze me, but still....)

Does this come out like a brownie with honey flavor. Or is it more of a honey cake with a hint of brownie?
