I saw them at the store, figured I'd try something new for our after-the-seuda-fruit-fest.
Do you cook, bake, broil or whatever it?
Can anyone give me detailed step-by-step instructions?
Thanks.

You can also boil them until cooked through, drain and keep warm on the blech/plata/whatever you use. Yum! I love chestnuts. Especially Friday night!

Roast on what and how? And what high are you referring to, hi flame or broil in oven?

Use a sharp knife and score a deep cut across each chestnut. Then bake at 250°C/500°F for about 20-25 minutes. Pour a little water on the bottom of the pan; it makes the chestnuts roast quicker.

I usually bake them at 350F for 30 minutes and they come out great.
And I cut a small X in the shell at the more pointed end.
