I know of something available. It's computer/phone based, so you can do it from home, and from wherever it is that you live. It's a real live job, not one of these "fake" jobs. Really worthy organization to work for. PM me for details.

I am actually working on a blog for syndication now. It takes a lot of work to get things started. You would need a super niche market though a Kosher Reviews / Giveaway Blog would probably do really well but it will not pay the first few months you will need to grow your follower / email base pretty big before you will get major sponsors. Of course you will receive the free products to review but nothing paid right away and if you aren't familiar with this type of blogging you would need to do a ton of research about how they work and hook up with other bloggers who are not Jewish in order to learn the ropes.

How does online tutoring work? I usually need to show work to the student on a piece of paper.

I know that this is a very old thread, but it seems that it was revived today.

can you tell me any websites to become a virtual secretary? I have been looking all over for something like this.

I have a very unusual part-time job.

I do phone depositions from home. (Court reporting)

I work for a court-reporting agency that specializes in worker's compensation. This is a growing field.
I conference call with a doctor, the insurance attorney and the claimant's attorney. I swear in the doctor, then take the deposition (right now using voice recognition software).

The deposition lasts one-half hour. I have to put together the transcript and email to by boss. I make about $110 minimum. If it takes longer than 1/2 hour, I get an additional $3 per page.

I'm not a VA but I've hired a number of VA's to help me in various capacities.

I'd start with these sites if that were my path.

http://vatrainer.com/ (Kathie Thomas is one of the world's best VA niche specialists-- I've heard her speak and I'm impressed)

http://www.assistu.com/ (one of my VAs trained through them)

http://www.virtualassistantnetworking.com/ (I don't know if they offer training courses but it's a good networking site)

http://www.vanetworking.com/ (similar to above)

And Erin Blaskie's course is popular too.

If you do become a VA, let us know when you do--- some of us on here hire VA's.
