I just heard about this book last night on COLlive where the author spoke for approximately 45 minutes about her life tragedies and how she overcame them b'simcha. At the end of her talk, she mentioned a book she wrote, Repairing Rainbows. I believe it was published in 2010, and I was wondering if anyone read this book and what they thought of it.

Thank you, oliveoil. She was an incredible speaker, so if her book is as good as her speech, I think I'm going to get it. Do you know the name of the publisher?

I just checked on amazon and it says self published.

I am not a big book-buyer, more of a library goer, but to me, this is a book worth owning.

DH suggested I borrow it from the library, and then I can buy it if I like it. So that's what I might do. I really appreciate your positive feedback.

Please let's continue the topic. I would love to hear more "positive" feedback, but even if it's negative, please share your thoughts about the book with me. Thanks so much.

I went to the local library last week. They do not have the book, nor do any of the other libraries in our area. (I do not live in NY, I'm from out of town). The reason being that it is a self-published book, and since we live in a small community and the communities in our area are all small cities, the libraries carry only books by the large publishing companies.
