... when someone tells you they don't vaccinate for an ignorant reason?
Someone in the other thread that these people are not their friend anymore.
It is easy to say in theory but when I was in this situation myself, I didn't find it so easy.
The main reason is that when I start arguing and bringing reasons, some mothers get intimidated and I feel like they close up and just won't talk to me anymore.
I could, of course, exclude these people from my life, but first of all, you keep seeing them in public places anyway, and second of all, if you believe it is for everyone's good to have everyone vaccinated and healthy, then it is better to keep lines of communication open.
I am just afraid that if their child gets sick, they might try to hide it for the fear of being bashed, and this will get more people infected.

I'm Asking this question to people who have friends or acquaintances who you know don't vaccinate. Did your children ever catch a vaccine preventable disease from one of your friends unvaccinated children?
