Hi,
Did anyone ever have to do this for their child? I'm wondering if anyone could share their experiences. Thanks!

I was 10 or 12 when I had my first one. I've had over a dozen in my adult life. I was quite engaged with the whole process as science when I had my first one.

Thank you. Could you see this test working on a 12-month-old without anesthesia?

I presume they will set an IV and use that to deliver the dye. There is no real discomfort with the test itself. You can feel the dye move through your system (my inner nerd thought this was cool), it feels warm. I cannot really say it would be uncomfortable for an infant. I certainly would let the pros have at it if it were my child. I have no idea what the impact of anesthesia would have on the test or being able to deliver the dye for the purposes of imaging.
