Frances Brody!! She wrote a whole series of books about a female character named Kate Shackleton, a woman who lost her husband and turns into a detective/sleuth. It’s set in the 1920’s, totally clean and very entertaining- I love her! I also learned quite a bit about England in the 1920’s from the books. Highly recommended!
