I cant seem to get a straight answer from any doctor.
I've had the symptoms for a week. I have no fever, cough is mostly gone. The only thing that I feel is dizziness and when I breath deeply my lungs hurt.
Am I still contagious? At what point can I go out? I've heard from people that the cough stays for a few weeks. Do I need to wait until that's completely disappeared to go buy supplies? Are these symptoms or are they recovering symptoms?

I’m not a dr but here’s what I’ve heard.
I’ve seen 2 variations. Either you need to be Completely symptom free (absolutely no cough, tightness or heaviness in chest etc) for 14 days and elsewhere I saw 3 days. Regardless you aren’t there yet.
Also note that there are eight strains of Th the virus.

This makes no sense to me. I am way past 14 days from beginning and am still on and off symptomatic. But not fever. I don't consider it recovered because I don't feel recovered.

It's 3 days of no symptoms at all, not just no fever. Some day 7.

Also what about us asymptomatic people?
And my husband (1 week fever-free) feels totally totally totally better, except for pain in his leg.

Last I heard, there were only 2 strains. This thing must be mutating fast. That could explain why people who recover are getting the virus again.
The first round completely knocks out your immune system, so you're basically wide open for the next bacteria or virus that comes along.
My doctors are saying that they are seeing record numbers of bacterial infections, and that there may be an Amoxycillin shortage soon. Just because you feel recovered, doesn't mean that you are 100% safe, so please be careful!

Last I heard there were two. BH, immunity to one = immunity to the other.
Can you provide a source, please?

Hamodia had an article about 8 strains.
The CDC is saying after 3 days fever free and 3 days from when coughing stops. I don't know about other symptoms.
I would be as conservative as I could possibly be. Please try to pin your doctor down, or call a local health department. Refuah shleima!

According to the CDC, its 3 days of no fever- the other symptoms just need to be improving.
