Wanted to prepare things in advance and was wondering what freezes well?

Does sponge cake for pesach freeze well?

How about eggplant or zuchini salad?

I know soups freeze very well also meat what else can you suggest?

Thanks,

I think most things freeze well for a short time, but I would never freeze anything raw - salads, etc.

are you sure? raw grated carrot salad? I've never heard of any raw veggie that can be frozen and then eaten raw. You have to either cook first and freeze, or freeze and then cook. Unless, of course, you LIKE soggy, limp vegetables.
