I sewed a set of girl and doll masks for a toddler I know that needed to fly. I used the 5 minute mask pattern from youtube. You can do earloops or strap that goes around head. I made both versions. Here's the standard earloop one.

She wore it long enough to get on the plane and flight attendants weren't strict about it
