amother [ OP ] wrote: | Or you need a good massage...
There was a point I didn’t even know I had stress/tightening in my neck muscles. This was right before Covid hit and I found out that at the cancer center we visited (weekly at that point) there was a massage therapist who worked with patients and parents. It was my first time getting a really good stress relief massage. And only when she was working on my neck muscles did I realize what was “sitting” on there.
Sadly with Covid the sessions stopped and I really miss her... |
I think this is my problem. I recently got a massage to relieve stress and since then I am too aware of how badly I can use another one. I should’ve never done the first one. I can’t believe I’m krechtzing about my back here. Watermelons are more entertaining.

I'll start. I love watermelon and I even look like one. big and round. |
There is a secular song called Watermelon Sugar which seems innocent but look up the meaning and you really dont want to bring it up in a thread that is trying to avoid this topic (hint: its s-xual). Just thought I'd point it out.

Watermelons should be on the list of censored words.

At the rate of all the words landing in the censored pile we will soon have to walk around wearing a mask 😷 I mean a zipper 🤐 and not be able to talk,

Thanx! I love random discussions! Way more fun!
I like watermelon (love when it's in season).
I don't have too much to say about tablecloths. I use classic white for Shabbos. None during the week.
I'm so sorry about your back! Not fun!
I like to sew. But as I said, nowhere to keep the machine.
I like sushi too. Not my favorite, but here and there it's exactly what I need!
I'm trying to diet. Not working too well. Never had to in my life. Was always thin, till a few years ago, it started creeping up on me. I guess letting me know I'm not 20 anymore.

Maybe we should start a new thread. Triggering words.
I’ll start:
Flaky rugelach (I love them but they trigger my scale terribly)
Kids
(I was gonna say men but if I give all the examples I’ll leave nothing for anybody else. So I won’t say men or husbands)

Are you talking to me? Should I report my post, or delete it? And was it the flakies that triggered you?

Rugelach trigger me terrible. I’ll let you talk about it, as long as you and rugelach are not in my daled ames.
Oh, and don’t delete your post. I did that last week- when my lighthearted thread couldn’t be handled..l

Isn’t it interesting how are bodies communicate with us- and they know our age well too...

You remind me of the tea I’m going to drink now
And scary story you just posted. Was that on a granite countertop?

I have no clue how to sew but I’m thinking of buying a mini sewing machine so my kids and I can learn together. Trouble is that I suspect I’ll buy it and then just watch it gather dust.

I was given a brand new 1,500$ sewing machine 2 years ago as a gift.
I don't know how to sew.

I don't know how to sew. | Hey can I have it?
On second thought, I don't have place for a sewing machine in my tiny hole of an apartment.
On third thought, I don't remember how to thread a bobbin either.

One of my goals this year is to learn to use my sewing machine. I learned to sew by hand as a child and I sew rips and tears by hand, but I really should learn to home make clothing, I feel like a failure because I can't. Well I could, but by hand, which takes forever, so I don't. But the threading on this thing takes forever, then I try to use it and it immediately snarls up so I know I did it wrong.

Does it wash well? Can you link which one you have?
