Both secular publishers, available in the public library system
For children:
The Marvelous Mixup (Hachai)
The Mountain Jews and the Mirror (Kar-Ben, haven't read it) |

It’s so good. I’ve been loving the Jewish Press lately.

Spoiler alert: I'm just slightly disappointed by the turn this story has taken - it introduces a supernatural character. I thought it would be more of a real-life type of story. But I'm still hooked and reading it each week.

Thanks for sharing. I thoroughly enjoyed the story.
Some comments:
Like someone above said, I didn't love that she brought in a supernatural aspect. It took a serious and painful story and made it into a cutesy Disney tale. I think her readership would have been served better if she stuck to the reality.
Also, as the story wound down, Binyamin became less and less of a real person. BH I don't live with someone like that, but the way he acted at the beis din seemed very unrealistic.

you are right about the disney tale part, however many women have gotten divorces from
binyamin type of men and it is nothing short of eliyahu hanavi scenario.
In other words: there is a heavenly hand making it happen supernaturally.
