Bear in mind these two list are probably based on things like box office and ticket sales or historical impact.

A lot of musicals-

Mary Poppins
The Sound of Music
Oliver
Thoroughly Modern Millie
Funny Girl
My Fair Lady
Hello Dolly
Grease
Fiddler on the Roof
Cabaret
The Way We Were
The Sting
The last two aren't really musicals but their music themes are classic.

I watched many of these growing up. Nothing like old movies!

Young at heart? My grandparents were also all born in 1910-20s, my parents in the mid 1950s, and I’m in my low 30s. Never thought I was old before this post. Lol!
