It's really good. Different but good.
It's about a (nerdy) science teacher who is dying of cancer and starts making/selling meth to leave his family with more money.

It just got renewed for a second season - the first was only 6 or 7 episodes.
catonmylap gave a pretty good overview. It shows the downward/upward spiral of this straight laced high school Chemistry teacher that goes to the bad side. His teenage son is physically handicapped and his wife is pregnant when he finds out he has terminal lung cancer, and no money to leave his family, so he turns to an old student that is a drug dealer, and together, they make crystal meth, and start making tons of $, but also get in trouble along the way.
