I was reading the thread of best purchases and trampoline came up over and over again. My kids LOVE jumping on people's trampolines but I get so worried from Googling how horribly dangerous they are. I am not a worrier type of person but it seems trampolines cause the greatest injuries to children. Did anyone think of this before getting yours? How did you put mind at ease. I really want one!
Last question, until what age are your kids jumping?

In ground trampolines have become very popular lately. Maybe look in to it if it's an option for you. It's safer and just as much fun.

The injuries tend to be big kids jumping on top of little kids, too many kids on at once, or kids doing flips. Like with all things if you set rules and stick to them it’s not more unsafe than other outdoor play. Kids break bones on monkey bars and bikes too.

A lot of Hatzolah members are very against trampolines bec of the amount of injuries it causes.

The house I moved into had a trampoline left by the previous owners. I probably would not have bought one myself. It has a net of course, and I have two rules. One, no more than 3-4 kids at a time, and two, the kids have to be approximately the same size. That being said, my kids rarely go on it.
