Anyone know if you have to pay for the 40.00 pass for Meadowlands Fair? It says there is no general admissions ticket so does that mean you can enter for free and pay for what you’d like, or is it mandatory to buy the pass in order to enter?

Last year the pass was mandatory.
Didn’t go this year. But it definitely gets more expensive every year.

Yes, just to get in you need that pass for $40+ per person. It includes rides and shows though. There's also a fair going on in Long Island that's only $10 pp that includes shows but not rides.
