I just went through this with my baby. You can read through my posts about it if you want, or you can message me. I took him to a GI, and to an ENT to check for ties. I switched him from materna to a hypoallergenic formula. He was on pepcid 2x/day, until the end of the summer when I kept forgetting to give it to him. I put oatmeal in his bottle, not rice. He did have a tongue tie, which was clipped the day before his bris.

I have friends that the rice milk did the trick
Unfortunately these changes take time. So I would say give the Prevacid a week to work… whatever change your doing give it a few days to work
