Wow that’s much less than I expected. So if someone is getting paid $90 the agency isn’t making so much. How much is the doe paying for slp? My slp friend is getting paid $120 per hour

It's new, not sure if the new rate will be for all services, the agencies will need to change things. They still need to pay the law firm, office team, supervisors....

You may be right. But also in reality, the government should stop paying for these services and reduce taxes, and let people pay for therapy services out of pocket. Then the market will decide what is an appropriate rate. And there will be less waste and less unnecessary therapy services.
Frankly, I don't know how they're raising prices like this and where all this money is supposed to come from.

Really pay out of pocket? Maybe sometimes there are students getting unnecessary services but not for most .
Children with learning disabilities Really should get services through the Board of Education that’s what it’s meant for.
