Dd12 is onto her third cycle. Each one was only three weeks. Is that normal? When I started getting periods, I remember my cycles were really long. I remember my dr saying that's normal for the first year or two. But what about short cycles? Is that normal too?

Ask your pediatrician. I started with 30 day cycles from my first period until now.

When I first got my period at 12 the first two were two weeks apart and had heavier bleeding than I have ever had since. It's all in the realm of normal, but worth mentioning to pediatrician. Don't be alarmed and the hormones will most likely balance out.

Yes, I had sometimes every three weeks in my first year, and my pediatrician said it's normal for the first year.
