It's hard to write two "m"s next to each other in script.
Is it Simma as in "it" or as in "eat"? I've seen Seema.

my daughter is sima. everyone spells it correctly like that. the only thing is that sometimes people pronounce it seeeema which drivers her crazy!

If you are going to pronounce it with a short /I/ then Sima. I do know of a Simma, but people are always misspelling it, b/c it's not the common way to spell it. If you are going to be pronouncing it as a long /e/ then Seema is the most phonetic.
