My Dh has been having ankle issues for a couple months. As it is, it's been a source of tension as I feel like he complains so much. He went to specialist who took an X-ray at that time and confirmed a slight sprain. He did the brace and therapy. He said that would do it but if not he would need an MRI. He got the all clear from dr. To stop and he is ok. A few days ago he started complaining again. Called the dr. back to get scheduled for MRI and she said he needs to be seen so she can determine that. So he went and paid the 70.00 specialist copay (yes, it's its crazy high copay as it just went up...) and she said yes let's do the MRI. He went and did it Monday. Yesterday dr. Calls him midday and says come in ASAP to discuss results. He panicked and got an appointment that day, left work early for it again and once again paid 70.00!! The result?? Two second consult with dr. That it looks ok. May be a very slight tear but it will heal. Bye. Seriously?? I'm fuming! It's 140 in less than a week for what?? Couldn't she have just called him with results?? They said its "office policy". Where I work, if results are normal we just tell you on the phone!! I'm planning on calling the office tomorrow and let them know how I feel. I want them to reimburse for sure 70. Really I think they should reimburse the 140! Am I wrong?? Sorry for this venting long post!! I'm furious!

Sounds terrible and like they really want your money.
Try getting at least $70 back. It's worth a try.
But, if after 6 phone calls and e-mails and SMSs and threats and... they still don't reimburse you, then just move on. It's not worth all that emotional energy. (You ned your energy for Pesach cleaning, jk!)
