I'm constantly having to adjust the dust ruffles which shift underneath the mattress. They were expensive, so I'd prefer not to get rid of them--- but what can I do to stop them from moving- sliding down on one side of the bed------ which causes it to rise higher on the other.
any ideas??????

I put T pins (sheitel pins) into the dust ruffles. I put it through the dust ruffles and push it in crooked into the mattress box on all four sides.
good luck

How about taking them off and using the fabric to make something else like valances for the window or a dressing-table skirt instead?

Do you have a non-slip pad between your mattress and the dust ruffle? It's a very very thin piece of foam (maybe 1/8" thick); that seemed to help at my house (until the kids found it and ripped it up).

All linen stores (or try bed bath and beyond ) sell pins that you push (more like twist) into the box springs. They work great.

MOM222- thank you very much, never heard of them before but will check into them and try them out
I'll have to think of you now each time I walk into my bedroom and not have them bother me anymore.....

you could pin them.
you could buy a different kind.
you could do without them.

Na, once you'll get used to it, you'll forget it ever slid around.
