I have a child who will be learning in Canada this year and traveling back and forth to America for vacations etc. I'm having a very hard time finding an American cell phone carriers that covers both countries for less than $45 a month. Do you know of any Canadian carriers that do or what's the best way to juggle this.

Every T-Mobile plan I think can be used anywhere in the world (or most places) for up to 6 weeks at a time. And you can use it in Canada the same way as in the states.

I've been told that's only if it's less than 50%of the overall account usage. Here majority of usage would be in Canada and only a little every once in a while in the us. Not even necessarily every 6 weeks.
