This week someone I’m casually acquainted with came over so I could do her a favor and help her work on something, she spent a few hrs here, I gave her a bunch of things, fed her, and then she left and not one thank u for any of it. Is it just lack of manners or does she not appreciate any of what I did? I feel used and resentful.

I get it that it doesn't feel good for you. There are so many reasons a person could neglect to say thank you. Try to remind yourself that you get s'char even without her verbal recognition.

why? maybe her mom didnt teach her?
Maybe she feels uncomfortable in having to be on the receiving end like if she got hand me downs from you & feels bad about herself why she cant affors new- or if you helped her with something maybe she feels incompetent
maybe she here only for the taking...

Thank you. Sorry I forgot. I had a lot on my mind. It really meant a lot to me btw. I hope to be able to return the favor someday.
