Last night I got the song called “We’ve Got Tonight” stuck in my head and couldn’t remember/didn’t know who it was by (great song and performance; not such a good hashkafa though, unless you interpret it pretty generously). I couldn’t look it up because it was Shabbos. I was thinking of the famous duet version, could hear it so clearly in my head, and made my husband sing it with me (I do things like that). It was probably the first time I’d given the song any thought, and I don’t know what made me even think of it.

Anyway, I looked it up online after Shabbos: the version I was thinking of was by Kenny Rogers and HE PASSED AWAY LAST NIGHT!!! At 10.25pm - the song was definitely in my head at that time.

May HaShem look after his soul and comfort his family.

This was so weird.
