Anyone else beyond stressing about losing money that they have a small banks?
It is not possible to pull out before tomorrow, and even that might be a problem because banks are not cooperative.

What country are you in? Did something happen to make you suddenly panic?
I'm in the US and would only keep money in banks that are FDIC insured. So, even if itnis a small bank, I feel confident thay my money is safe.

They say many small banks will follow Silicon Valley as early as tomorrow.
It’s a total possibility given the crazy circumstances in the US.
FDIC insured is only up to $250k. We have more than that.

Why don't you split it up then? Easy enough and always a good idea to not keep all your eggs in one basket

If you have less than $250,000 in each account then it is FDIC insured and you have nothing to worry about.

If you have another depositor on the account you're insured 250k for each depositor. It's really scary whats going on.

If your husband is on there as well it’s 500k.
You should really diversify starting tomorrow.

We can’t do that today as banks are closed.
It is what it is now. We can’t help that part.

Right we are also busy trying to make sure there is only $500k in each account. It’s definitely scary to think about

Thanks for understanding. I’m shocked how many women here don’t get what’s going on.
I’m the only one on that account so that’s just 250k

I have checks from people that were waiting to be deposited and I'm petrified if they don't go through.

I think you're safer with one of the big 5 banks and Chase is the biggest.

Even a broken clock is correct twice a day.
Everyone can predict a market crash yet few can predict when it will come or who it will hit.
