I made 10 waffles tonight I know for a fact cuz my waffle machine makes 4 at a time and I did 2.5 rounds
One of them broke while cooking so I ate half.
Dh didn't have any and I didn't let my kids have tonight. So how come when I went to put them away there were only 6.5 🤔 Banging head

So let's say you started with 10 waffles.
You ate half, so there should be 9.5 left.
Instead, there are 6.5 left, so you are missing 3.
So...
One fell on the floor.
One fell in the garbage.
One is still stuck in the machine.
Or maybe you ate more but you are forgetting. Or maybe your kid snuck one while you were on Imamother.

I'm just getting stuck on a few points if you can help me then maybe I could help you
1. Why would you only eat half of a broken waffle? That's literally leaving evidence for everyone to see that you have been sneaking waffles while you were cooking. And everyone will assume that you ate all the missing ones. Honestly I'm thinking that's what really happened.
2. How is 10 waffles enough for your family? I'm nervous that they're undernourished. My kids need like 5 each and they are skinny!
3. Does any of your kids walk? Cause shoeless kids are literally like mice - they can sneak up and grab a waffle without you noticing - just the sizzling sound is enough to camouflage their nearly noiseless escapades. And if you were on your phone you can guarantee that there's no way you'd notice.
4. Maybe order a pie of pizza so they shouldn't go hungry?
P.S. Now that you've ordered pizza, I'm happy to have the leftover waffles:-)
