To quote a wise woman 'I've got lots of treasures but money isn't one of them.
She's right but I need money to bring said treasures up.

I don't live paycheck to paycheck, way worse. Run out of money half way thru the month. My family starving, as long as bread available we won't starve. We get a bit of help with basics but im drowning.

Is it ungreatful to ask H`Shem for money after He has given me so much? I need a few thousand dollars for necessities. I wear tights, t shirts etc when my Kids are done with them and yes, even undergarments at times.

I have anxiety when a Kid asks for a new Shirt . . my heart starts pounding. DH and I both put in extra hours , but its not malling much of dent. But it's soon Pesach. It's with me day and night .

The extra hours go to necessities, but with Pesach looming, how just how?? n I don't know how. I want to afford a new books for kids Pesach time , and tights without doing crazy brain gymnastics. No cleaner, not a pizza supper.

My Kitchen floor has a hole, my stairs carpet is taped over the threadbare Parts. But yet guess that's liveable with so again not strictly a necessity.

But how cant ask H`shem for money things that are non essentials when the He has blessed me so?

Feels petty but He is our Father.

Idk

I also always start by saying thanks for all I have and then I ask hashem for what I want. He has an unlimited bank account, and he can provide way more than what you need.

And ill tell you something: if you truly believe that hashem can provide anything and everything, he will. I keep on seeing it time and again. When I think im in charge and stress about money, things are tight, but when I let go and let god, things just fall into place in the most incredible ways.

In many things yes, but maybe not with money. And if He wanted me to rich, wouldn't He make me rich? Idk He can do anything. Maybe He's saying no, just like we tell our kids 'no'. I love them but it's for their benefit I'm saying no. Maybe H' has the same cheshbon for me, his child.

You don’t and can’t know Hashem’s calculations. Hashem wants us to daven for our needs. He doesn’t feel nagged when we daven. Davening brings us closer to Hashem.
As long as you keep grateful for the gifts you have asking hashem for other things you need isn’t ungrateful at all.

Hashem wants you to recognize that He is the source for all bracha. If you do, it makes absolute sense to ask Him for this bracha. It's a good thing.

Hashem also wants Moshiach. The first step is acknowledging the desire you share with Hashem. We are mechuyav to ask for our needs. In shmoneh essay for two brachos we are required to have a vision of what the outcome should look like. In refaeinu we visualize the ill person well like everyone else and in bareich aleinu we envious wealth as if we already have it.

It's not ungrateful at all. Hashem, you gave me these children, please help me to give them a life without lack, that they deserve. They're His children also - and so are you!
I always think, when we add in tefillos in aseres yemai teshuva, one of the things we say is "Bsefer chaim, bracha vshalom, uparnassah tovah...." Bracha encompasses most things, like children, spouses, health etc. But parnassah is so important that it gets its own separate mention, not just included under the umbrella of general bracha. It's understood that parnassah is something extremely important.
Think of how many tefillos there are, especially over RH/YK davening, that focus on or mention parnassah. It's definitely not ungrateful to ask Hashem for this. If you had wealth, good looks, great health, great shalom bayis, but no children - would you not daven for children becasue you were blessed in other areas? (Yes - there's no comparison between children and money. However, both are massive brachos, and both can be extremely difficult to live without. A person without children is considered dead, but so is a person without money.....)

You have to make yourself a keili that can receive Bracha. The first step is to stop thinking that you don’t deserve and that it’s ungrateful to ask. You can be grateful for what you ask and also ask for what you need and even what you want.

You can ask HaShem for whatever you want. Something I learned that I like to add after a request is “if the answer is no please give me the strength and the means to do without. You gave me x so You must think I have the means and capability to handle it with what I have. Please help me handle it with grace and ease.”

H-shem please help me financially. From the bottom of my heart I thank you for all the blessings you've given me, but help me enjoy them stress free.

Help me to create a happy relaxed home, where my children, the one's You granted me can see the beauty of Yiddishkeit.

Is there a way to verify OP and then have you post a zelle account?
I don't have much, but I would love to help you (in whatever small way I can) to get ready for Pesach with a lighter heart.

How do you see this? Hashem wants some rich and some poor. He wants some healthy and some sick. He wants some fertile and some infertile. He wants some married and some lonely.

I've heard this but then I think that many people who don't make themselves a keili for a bracha still receive bracha. And the opposite is also true. And when I look at who receives bracha, it appears to be very random. Are the good people less sick and poor?

I would change one part and it’s important. It’s only one word, but it makes a big difference.
I would say thank you Hasham for all the brachos that you give me. I really appreciate them.
AND please give me more.
Please give me the finances to make things easy.
It’s not a but, it’s in addition.
I appreciate everything.. And I would like more.
That is what I do for. For me it’s not money but it’s other things in my life that are incredibly challenging. I try to thank Hashem for what I have and I ask him to please give me this as well.
As an as sidenote, I’m wondering and hoping that you are availing yourself of any community resources. If you’re tight for food, is there a Tomche Shabbos in your area? You should not be tight for food.
