My DD just turned 7 months and her wake windows have been getting longer, which means that it's becoming more and more difficult to fit in the third nap, which she needs, and still have an early bedtime.
This is a typical schedule:
6:30-7AM: Wakeup
9:00-9:40: Nap #1
(She normally sleeps 40 mins or less NO MATTER WHAT I DO)
11:45-12:30: Nap #2
3:30: This is where it gets tricky. It usually takes a long time to get her down, or we're out and she catnaps in the carseat, so by the time she's asleep, it's closer to 4.**
6:30 PM: Bathtime
7:00 PM: Bedtime
** if she wakes up anytime after 4:30, it's impossible to get her down for bed before 8, and DH and I need my baby-free time because I'm usually in bed by 9:30.
What should I do? Today and yesterday I skipped the third Nap and she was absolutely losing it at bedtime.
Any advice?

For a short time you will probably have to put her to bed a little later, even though it's not very convenient for you.

I think the 3rd Nap is starting too late.

If she wakes up from her 2nd nap at 12:30 why are you not putting her down for her 3rd at 2:30? Seems like she has 2 hour wake windows right now. 2:30- 3:30 and then put her to bed at 6-6:30.
