I actually cringe when I pass by a kaparrah center and see the poor chickens crammed in crates dying from no food or water. It pains me.
And it also makes me sad about the conditions of the chickens we eat. I can only imagine how the stress hormones these chickens release affect the chickens. And how that surely affects our bodies when we ingest this type of meat.
So yes I do kapparo's with money. If I would life near a farm and could do it on free range chickens that would be a different story.
I can only hope that the zechus of being used as a kappara and being uplifted that way makes up for its painful life on earth.
