I get all my velours from Europe. They are cheaper and much more plush than the ones sold here. And they hold up beautifully after many washes.

How do you go about doing that?
Do you go there yourself? family that lives there? Do you order from a store there?

Sometimes myself sometimes from family but there are brands there that deliver to the U.S. I'm not sure about marks and spencer but vertbuedet (not sure if I spelled it correctly) definitely delivers.

OP, I feel the same as you. Who cares what pjs look like they're just sleeping in them. With that being said, if you need a specific type and have looked at cheaper options (second hand, clearance, etc.) and can't find, then sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and spend the money. But like you, if I needed to spend $35 on pajamas I would cringe (I would do it, but be annoyed about it). I usually aim for $5 or less for pjs. When I find them on clearance I'll buy a size up so I always have the next size when they're ready and don't have to shell out the full price.
