Forced masks now became forced testing =forced vaccines

A school in NY circulated a letter that school will resume but they will be testing 20% of children once a week. If parents don’t agree, their child will have to stay remote.
Is that where we are heading? By going along with all draconian rules are we making it worse for ourselves?
My main question and fear really is: will forced masks and testing turn into forced vaccines?

It could , I think at this point ps are telling parents same thing , they will have to sign a permission slip that their children can be tested in school
Not sure what district zip code it applies to, but I saw parent discuss this exact topic on a Facebook page
The same can happen with a Covid vaccine . Not sure that it will, but it can
We already have mandatory vaccines for school

This is part of the executive orders for covid19 in nyc. All schools have to submit random testing, I think its 20%, every week with parents permission. Since most parents are not interested, the school makes it mandatory for everyone to give permission so they can do the required testing to stay open

I'm in NYS not NYC and we have enforced testing in our schools too, but just for teachers and middle and high school (for now). I signed the form because I'm ok with it, but I don't know what the consequences would be if parents don't give permission.

I think a covid vaccine will likely become mandatory just like other vaccines are for attending school. I know that my childrens' schools are requiring flu shots this year which they haven't before although they do require the usual childhood vaccines. I'm hoping, however, that they won't require the covid vaccine at least until the next school year so that there will be ample time for safety testing first. As far as I know, once a vaccine comes out (soon b'ezras Hashe-m!) it will be given to vulnerable people first so children will be far down on the list at the beginning.

I would imagine that the Covid vaccine might become required for school attendence like all other vaccines but that people could home school. There are some illegal schools here for anti-vaxers.
So far we are not being forced to give Gardasil but most of the other vaccines I have no objection to. I would imagine that there would be a grace period for which the Covid vaccine would not be required.

So this is what I had this week. My school called me abt one kid who needs one shot. I told them I'm not in a rush. Kid will get iy"h one day. They replied "we are". I opened my mouth "all kids are up to date cuz of one kid and one shot you're making an issue? Don't dare call me again. Oh and btw, I.am.not.giving.the.flu.shot. make a note cuz I ain't giving it". Last yr I had same story and they didn't call me again.
So the answer to your question is that they can force all they like. Ultimately if it's a parent who generally vaccinates they'll try to force you but you'll be able to fight it. Those who don't vaccinate at all will have a harder time.

Flu vaccine is not mandatory in NJ for kids over 5. I don't think covid wil either as the deathrate for school age kids is lower than flu, basically both tiny.

That being said, I will homeschool rather than vaccinate. My daugher keeps telling me they better wait till she graduates Wink

You can be sure that they will make the covid vaccine mandatory for school kids. And it won't help if you had it because they're clearly already saying that it will be a yearly shot.

My gut feeling is that they'll put the covid vaccine into the flu shot and make it mandatory for all school age kids.

Right now, I'm ny, all children up to 5, must receive a flu shot yearly which includes a strain of flu a, flu b and h1n1. Schools have gotten very strict this year since they receive a 2000 fine per child that hasn't had it.

The crazy thing is, my neighbor has a 12th grader who needs to get a meningitis shot ( booster at 16y). She told them that since school is officially not open , why is there a rush. School would not let her come to class before getting the shot

With all the power they now weild over schools due to covid, the governors are apparently now throwing in non-covid related mandates like cracking down on flu shot mandates with a 2K fine per unvaxxed child....? Alright. Big Gvmt doing it's thing.

By the way, I think the flu shot mandates on children under age 5 is only in NYC, not NYS. Also, why only under age 5? Or, rather, why specifically under age 5? Any particular reasoning behind this guideline?

Are children that age more susceptible to the flu? Why is this guideline in place? Also, how can you mandate a shot that has such a high failure rate (but I digress)?

the law in nyc is now and has been for past year for all children under 5, including school. As of last September, city fines 2000 for noncompliance per child. The doh had hired more inspectors specifically to hound the schools about complying, when covid came around....

It will. Ny and Nj for sure will force vaccines. Im m pro vax but on COVID you cannot convince me. The COVID has 2020 technology that you will not know. Some even say your DNA will be modified thru the shot . If you are afraid of this you should start researching red states with red mayors inside.
