Effie?

My name is fraida. The person I’m named after told her kids that they can/should name their kids another name in addition and go by that other name because she knew fraida was not the most flattering in her circles. So I’m fraida with another name.

Daidy. It means great grandmother in Hungarian though so skip if not appropriate for you.

I've heard of people naming their daughters "Freida" (pronounced Freeda) and I really like it.

Or what about Lizzie. Aliza has the same meaning as Fraida.

Off topic. I know a married woman named Fraidy Katz
(Fraidy cats, get it?)

As long as your daughter doesn't marry a Katz, she'll be fine.

(Fraidy katz is fine too Smile
