I have two friends coming over for lunch on thursday. I was wondering if it would be ok to make pasta for lunch? one of them is vegetarian anyway so I wouldn't make meat because of that anyway. but do you think pasta is a substantial enough lunch? (I am looking for a nice recipe). obviously I will also have desert

I personally think so. besides meat or fish there is nothing really more "substantial" than pasta. anyway I don't really eat meat at lunchtime anyway, it saves me having to wait if I want milky things in the afternoon.
I would give you a recipe for pasta but I don't really know any as I am not that big on cooking. have a lovely time

Totally! Also serve a salad and/or soup and you'll be set. Enjoy!
