Washing floors is over-rated. It doesn't have to be washed in 4 stages. No one is eating off the floor.

Selfishness is overrated and is how abusive people manipulate others into doing what they want and then guilt them for saying no.

Most people naturally have a desire to give, it just needs to come from a place of choosing it vs being forced.

And on a similar note even If you lend someone money you can't criticize how they spend it because you have not done their calculations and budgeting.

People like feeling like victims because it lets them off the hook so they don't have to the the hard (and imperfect) work of taking responsibility for doing what is in their power to heal/have a better life and also because it validates their inappropriate behavior and dysfunctional coping mechanisms.

Dark colored nail polish is hideous. As is shades of blue, grey, green, orange, yellow etc.
