Let's write what our un-popular opinions are (because many "unpopular opinions are really just popular opinions that are rarely discussed- and that's just my opinion Wink )

I'll start

- Not everyone that hurts you is a "narcissist"

- Cheesecake is overrated

We don't need more "emunah" stories that end with "9 months later they had a baby boy"

"9 months later stories" don't help anybody

Much of people's anxiety really stems from a lack of bitachon

My unpopular opinion- anyone who doesn’t like cheesecake (or literally cheese anything) needs a serious taste Bud check or maybe even a brain mri

The belief of some women that the Torah believes women are second class citizens comes from their own insecurities, misconceptions and misinterpretations.

I wouldn't dare say this under my sn, sorry everyone...

As someone who struggles with anxiety, I will agree with you on many levels.

When anxiety is severe it needs to be dealt with but often what helps me when I start getting very anxious about things is remembering that I'm not in control.

The feeling of "I"m not in control. There's nothing I can do to ensure that xyz does or doesn't happen" has been so liberating for me.

Birth control isn't as simple as it is made out to be on imamother and if the passion for Torah and Mitzvahs on imamother was a tenth of what it is for BC less people would feel they need it

Your in-laws/parents don’t “owe” you support, regardless of how wealthy they are. It’s really nice if they do, but if you’re old enough to get married, you’re old enough to figure out your own finances.

Being supported is a privilege, not a requirement

On the same note, the world is not going down hill because of the lack of women's tznius or the lack of men's beards (I know beards only relate to some. No offense if it doesn't apply to you).

I agree with this as well, as someone who was only able to manage with lexapro for 3 years, until I did strong and intensive emunah work. At that point I weaned off of lexapro and easily manage my anxiety (even in high stakes situations) with emunah and bitachon deep internal work
My life is just 10000x better

Do you really believe this? That kids (let’s say wearing clean clothes that fit) look shlumpy when they’re not matching their siblings?
