Yes just announced that the shtisel spin-off called "kugel" will drop this year. It's a prequel focusing on Libby and Nuchem and their lives in Antwerp.

Hard pass for me. Shtisel was special becauseof where it took place andthe family that it was about. I think a drama that is about a charedi family in antwerp will not be anything special, but thats my opinion.

have you watched new Amsterdam? I think they took it from there. I saw shtisel first though, and then guessed what was happening on new Amsterdam. I loved shtisel but unfortunately some of their episodes were based off certain books that shall not be named.

I think it sounds really interesting. Antwerp sounds like a great location. If its made with the same attention to nuance re frum life that Shtisel is, I think it will be amazing.

New Amsterdam Is a fabulous medical drama on Netflix.

Can't wait. I live right next to the diamond area and they flim there all the time. Sometimes behind the buildings which is outside my bedroom windows so yay for me. Hope they don't flim late at night.
