The one on Jewish soundtracks and on jewish karaoke are too low of a key for me.

Are you talking about the song that starts, "my dear ima, I'm sending this letter"?
The tune was taken from a secular song called "one time soldier", you can see if you have better key choices if you Google that.

My dear Ima doesn't have the high part/chorus that "one time soldier" has though.
